This is the 20th Anniversary year of SPACE in Ibiza, one of the World's most recognised and loved nightclubs. No visit to Ibiza is complete without visiting this iconic establishment, which had over 22,000 visitors on the opening party 2009.
This year, Space have partnered up with Cr2, who are well recognised as one of the UK’s most respected dance labels and since 2004 have been responsible for some of Ibiza’s biggest records – Fedde Le Grand ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit’, Kurd Maverick ‘The Rub’, The Egg ‘Walking Away’, DJ Wady & Patrick M 'Hulk'
This LIVE & DIRECT compilation consists of 20 Full length versions of the biggest tracks from this years SPACE IBIZA compilation mixed by MYNC.
This Double CD is packaged in card wallets, which are very lightweight and do not damage like the standard jewel cases. Included is inserts with tracklistsings which can be easily inserted into the DJ wallets for ease of use.
CD1 Features 14 tracks which are already early 2009 anthems on the famous Space Terrace, including the massive DJ Wady remix of 'Needin U' and the updated Thomas Gold version of Lee Cabrera 'Shake It'.
CD2 Features tracks from Space resident Nic Fanciulli as well as Pryda and Gui Boratto.
Cr2 will be producing a 30 minute 'Live & Direct - Space Ibiza' podcast presented by MYNC which will be available on Itunes from 20th July. This will allow millions of Itunes users to access free and hear a seslecton of tracks from the album.
Cr2 will be advertising the album online with leading dance music sites - Resident Advisor, Ibiza Voice, Data Transmission as well as having leading coverage on www.space-ibiza.es and www.cr2records.co.uk
Cr2 will be sending out E-Flyers to combined databases of over 500,000 fans of Space / Cr2 / Dance Music. E-flyers will be sent 1 week prior, week of, and 1 week after release with direct links to buy. Cr2 will also be utilising the databases of leading DJ software/hardware giants - Native Instruments and Pioneer Pro DJ
There will be a launch party for the album on 30th July at Space for Press and media and industry contacts to hear the album. A competition will also be running in the press for a lucky winner + friend to win flights and accomodation and to attend this party.
Cr2 will be running adverts on Global and Sonica radio stations listened to by everyone on the island of ibiza
Cr2 will be TV advertising this album on Clubland TV from the week of release. This is viewed all over Europe and will be played 40 time per week for 4 weeks.
Posters promoting the compialtion will be put up in space nightclub so that everyone who visits the club will be aware of the album
Cr2 will be taking out 6 Full page Press adverts in major magazines in the UK & Ibiza over June / July to help promote the album as well as extensive online coverage with e-flyers & banners
