 As summer depressingly draws to a close Cr2 is desperate not to let the party end and so are releasing their last Cr2 Live & Direct compilation of the year. This last album is mixed by the dynamic Danish house duo Delicious & up and coming DJ Abigail Bailey. 2009 is set to become the year for Delicious. With already a huge following in France & Portugal Delicious are set to take the rest of the world by storm with their encapsulating musical style, a mixture of groovy house and electronic beats. Childhood friends Denise and Karina are not only DJ´s but thriving producers as well. Their own label Lekker Records has seen them release many of their own tracks and featured vocalists like Tiger Lily, Roxanne Wilde and Kid Massive. Their mix encompasses their varied style Christian Smith & John Selway’s track of the summer Total Departure to Guy J’s ‘Fade’. Abigail Bailey has been one of dance music’s leading vocalists since she stormed the charts in 2005 with the massive club anthem by Herd N Fitz " I Just Can’t Get Enough". Abigail is also responsible for writing the top lines to Changes for Chris Lake and MYNC projects "Something On Your Mind". The last few years have seen Abigail focus on her dj-ing with great success and already headlining nights all over the world from Rio de Janeiro to NYC and London town. Abigail saw this compilation as a perfect opportunity to express herself musically as a DJ in genres that she truly loves but isn’t always known for. Her disc flows smoothly starting with great mellow house with James Talk & Ridney’s – Sunshyne and moving onto Lützenkirchen – Paperboy (D-Nox & Beckers Remix). Delicious and Abigail have produced a special track specifically for the compilation. Their track ‘Bounce’ has received multiple plays on Radio 1 and with a great remix by Rocha & Lewinger. It’s been hailed as this summer’s biggest remix by Nic Fanciulli and received plays from Dubfire, Yousef and many more. Disc 3 is a Bonus UN-MIXED disc including some of the best tracks across both CD’s. |
