If you want to know what is rocking the dance world at any given time then speak to Mark Brown. His unfaltering talent for recognising a hit and tenacious approach to getting music signed and heard has seen him rise through the ranks to become one of today’s most respected figure heads within the industry.
Aside from the obvious achievements with Credence and Cr2 Mark is also an accomplished producer and DJ. He takes DJing beyond simply playing other people’s music and into the realms of musical creation and live performance, twisting pre-recorded sounds into new and original dancing spells.
Mark has been working hard at his solo projects which has included a remix for Kylie aswell as his debut single with Sarah Cracknell of St Etienne fame - ‘The Journey Continues’ – the music of which is from the famous Lloyds TSB adverts – which charted at no 11 in the UK Top 40 chart earlier this year.
On top of all this, Mark continues his efforts with Cr2, keeping it one of the biggest independent dance labels on the planet today.
Without limiting himself to House, Electronics, Deep House, Electro, Minimal Tech or Techhouse and with his melodic and underground sound, Elio Riso has infiltrated on all type of genres with his groove and experience as a Dj, Producer and Remixer.
His electric and hard to contain spirit is easily recognized throughout Argentina and during his Ibiza summer's residencies SPACE(- Carl Cox & friends , We Love Sundays…,Be@Space -Danny Tenaglia ).
During 2005, his track "To Be or Not to Be" was selected for the BBC Radio 1 (Essential Mix) guided by Pete Tong. The growth experienced by Elio during 2006 brought him to achieve remixes for Roger Sanchez (Lost), (Empire) DJ remo feat Chelonis, Tonight (Sonique), Your Body (Tom Novy), It's Killing me (Nick and Danny Chatelain), David Vandetta (Break 4 Love). His work during 2006, culminated on an original production and compilation DJ set - "Electro" - recoded live from club Space Ibiza (2006).
On 2007, Stealth Records edit one of his tracks – "Be Mine (Shine)" which was launched during the Winter Music Conference (Miami/USA). Another one of his tracks, Ego vs Ego was included on Carl Cox Compilation DJ Set for the Mix Mag (UK) magazine. In addition, Carl Cox included one more of Elio's tracks – "Power & Music" – on his Carl Cox @ Space Compilation (2007).
As of the beginning of 2008, Elio has done the remix of "Dope n Duster" (electric guitar) Azuli Rec and two new remixes for Carl Cox (k pasa & I want you). He is currently working on several tracks and has begun to edit two tracks (Hey Sweet / Space Pianist) for the Cr2 record label. Elio will be participating once more on the European Summer and will be present at this year's Rock In Rio ( Madrid ).
