Now in it's third year, the Cr2 LIVE & DIRECT IBIZA compilation series has firmly established itself as one of the big summer dance compilations sitting side by side with Ministry Of Sound, Defected and Azuli. This year the 3 CD’s are packed full of the biggest dancefloor tracks for 2010, with the format slightly amended from that of the two previous years the 3 discs will cover the sounds of Day, Night and Underground. Kick starting what can only be described as one of their most successful years to date, Cr2 showcase the enormous Miami Buzz and Club Chart Number 1 ‘I Feel Love’ from Rhythm Masters & MYNC feat. Wynter Gordon as well as their other recent Number 1 club chart smash from Sidney Samson feat. Lady Bee ‘Shutup & Let it Go’ on CD 1. The rest of CD1 (Day) follows suit with a selection of big house and electro from Cr2 established favourite producers such as Danny Freakazoid, DJ Wady and Jewel Kid mixed alongside exciting new signings Dan Castro, Dogman and Chuckie who we will be hearing a lot from in the near future!
As we go into CD2 - (Night) the tempo lifts dramatically and you can’t help but want to hit the dancefloor. With massive new cuts from Micky Slim, Cr2 wonderkid Jacob Plant and an onslaught from the Dutch house scene (Sidney Samson, Chuckie etc) who are taking over the airwaves at the moment! This CD provides peaktime sure-fire Ibiza anthems, and also includes the huge new single ‘I Wish It Could’ from Sam La More- this is electro-fidget-dutch house at it's best! In place of the normal 'Classics' disc Cr2 have decided to include their cooler sound, which has been going down a storm since the launch of their 'Underground Sampler' series this year. 15 Tracks superbly and seamlessly mixed to create an endless rolling groove, tracks included from the likes of Tapesh, Affkt & Coyu, Pirupa & Ramiro Lopez and Sergio Fernandez. We're pretty sure that this is a disc that won't leave your player for some time!
All in all, another fine offering from Cr2 which features many of the big records that will be setting the dancefloors alight on the magical island of Ibiza this Summer, and some cooler tracks you'll be hearing the likes of Luciano, Sven Vath and Nic Fanciulli dropping also.

This 3 disc CD perfectly encapsulates the famous Mambo experience which has attracted people from around the world year after year since 1994. Of the many hundreds of thousands that flock to the magical white isle, a visit to Mambo to experience one of the legendary sunsets has become an essential part of the Ibizan experience.
This year Café Mambo will celebrate its 16th year in Ibiza. It will be monumental, with plans to bottle the Cafe Mambo spirit and go global. Festivals and world tours are in the pipeline, friendships continue to grow, and the energy is stronger than ever.
The honour of mixing this year’s CD has been handed to Mambo resident Alex Wolfenden, Alex has been DJ’ing in Ibiza since 1997, playing in Pacha, Amnesia and Space before landing his dream DJ job Café Mambo. This year is his fifth year as resident at Mambo, so he was the perfect person to capture the Mambo vibe and transfer into CD format! Alex explains; ‘The concept behind the Café Mambo CD this year is to begin a collectors series with new direction for the new decade, something that will conjure emotion and inspire in years to come. Timeless music that you can feel, blending warm melodic rhythms with future sounds’.

Cadence 'Lazy Love is something slightly different from what Cr2 usually has to offer as it is vocal indie/electro. Australian producer Hook n Sling has provided one of the remixes in this package, and it's an electro house take on the original vocal. Sampling the recognisable chorus and putting an addictive bass line underneath the track is a winner for any club set.
Other mixes include Lee Mortimer who's had recent success with the likes of Laidback Luke. His fidget house take on the track has wobbles a plenty and is a prime example of what this young producer has to offer!

< As a DJ, Producer, Remixer and party organiser of the hottest night in London today, Gareth Wyn is one of the most fast rising DJ’s on the scene in recent years. Not only is he the resident at Cream Ibiza this year playing bi-weekly at the super club he is also Mixmag’s Future Hero and voted Best Breakthrough DJ at the Ibiza dance awards in 2007. His DJ sets are recognised for their understated driving force, and his productions successfully cross the boundaries between house and trance. After originally being selected by Pete Tong for his bedroom bedlam competition CR2 Records immediately snapped up ‘You’re no good for me’ for its house infused vibes. Reworking Prodigy’s original to full effect Gareth’s version is enough to please the masses he normally plays to. Unrecognisable aside from the original lyrics, the gentle build allows for a subtle drop enough to keep any crowd uplifted!

< For twenty years Space in Ibiza has drawn party lovers from around the globe to experience the magic of house music in it’s own unique atmosphere.
In this landmark 20th anniversary year for the club, Space have chosen the UK’s highly respected Independent label, Cr2 records, as their partner to release this years Space Ibiza compilation, one of the most keenly anticipated Ibiza albums of the year.
In just five years CR2 Records has worked with many of the finest artists in house music and racked up an enviable list of hits – among them Fedde Le Grand’s Put Your Hands Up For Detroit, The Rub by Kurd Maverick and The Egg’s massive crossover anthem Walking Away.
Mixed by MYNC, Space Ibiza 2009 combines the tune-spotting talent of CR2 Records Founder Mark Brown, along with the pure dancefloor adrenaline of MYNC. From their earliest days igniting the crowds at Passion in Coalville, through residencies at Cream Ibiza, The Cross and Godskitchen, to their much-loved Ministry of Sounds Sessions mix compilation, MYNC sets an unbeatable standard for excitement and energy.
The format this year includes 2CD and a bonus DVD which features the amazing highlights of this years opening party, which saw a record 22,000 up for it party people pass through the doors to see the worlds elite DJ’s, and also an interview with MYNC, opening party photo gallery, and additional downloads.
But it’s all about the music, with a stellar selection of 24 tracks spread across 2 CD’s - CD1 – La Terraza, kicks off proceedings with the new version of ‘Rose Rouge’ by Analog People In A Digital World, and passes through big terrace tracks such as ‘Needin U’ and ‘Shake It’ and tunes from Space Residents Wally Lopez & Steve Lawler. CD2 – La Discoteca, is a perfectly blended selection that has you entranced from start to finish as it twists through tech-house grooves from Nic Fanciulli, Gui Boratto, Pryda and Simian Mobile Disco. For those not able to visit the club in person, Cr2 have done everything with this CD to ensure that the magic of Space Ibiza comes to visit you!
