< For a long time, Slovenia is known for its great electronic parties, but as the local scene is of boutique dimensions, everyone, who wishes to take the art of mixing and producing to a professional level, has to go out there and enter the worldwide scene. Umek has done this step as early as in the middle of the 90s and so he became one of the most important techno players of the global techno scene, even before the end of the last millennium. Together with people, who shared the same views, he successfully captured the first era of researching and recreating the rules of the dance music in Recycled Loops, Consumer Recreation and Astrodisco platforms, which all put the sound of the Slovenian techno on the world map of electronic music.

Talented and recognised for both his productions and mixing skills Jewel Kid has caught the eye of the promoters at Space Ibiza and of course his native Maltese. The 14 track album contains brand new unheard material from Jewel Kid and all are exclusive to Cr2. Jewel Kid started djing professionally at the tender age of fourteen playing in big events such as the tribu festival, trigger and lovesexy, which made him Malta's youngest and fastest growing professional DJ on the island. By the age of 16 he was already resident in Malta's best known clubs - Barcode - Brass Monkey - Amazonia - Rum Jungle and Peppermint.

This 3 disc CD perfectly encapsulates the famous Mambo experience which has attracted people from around the world year after year since 1994. Of the many hundreds of thousands that flock to the magical white isle, a visit to Mambo to experience one of the legendary sunsets has become an essential part of the Ibizan experience.
This year Café Mambo will celebrate its 16th year in Ibiza. It will be monumental, with plans to bottle the Cafe Mambo spirit and go global. Festivals and world tours are in the pipeline, friendships continue to grow, and the energy is stronger than ever.
The honour of mixing this year’s CD has been handed to Mambo resident Alex Wolfenden, Alex has been DJ’ing in Ibiza since 1997, playing in Pacha, Amnesia and Space before landing his dream DJ job Café Mambo. This year is his fifth year as resident at Mambo, so he was the perfect person to capture the Mambo vibe and transfer into CD format! < As a DJ, Producer, Remixer and party organiser of the hottest night in London today, Gareth Wyn is one of the most fast rising DJ’s on the scene in recent years.
